SERVICE CLUBS
Community Alternative encourages the use of existing facilities within the community. Peterborough and surrounding communities have many service clubs that offer their facilities for Funeral and Memorial Services, and Receptions. Many Clubs offer prayers during visitation for a member that was part of their organization as a way of honouring and celebrating their life. Community Service Clubs serve numerous functions. Many out of town family members and visiting friends belong to service club organizations. We provide this convenient listing to aid make-up meetings, inquiries, or contact names for arranging special service arrangements if the deceased was a member of one of these organizations.
